More Good News

Today we found out my brain MRI results! My first tumor is now just scar tissue and the second one is shrinking and no signs of any activity!! We are so happy! Now, I can continue with my therapy and become more active! Kandice starts 1st grade at the elementary school just down the street next Wednesday and I am planning to walk her to/from school as much as I can since I can’t drive! Now that I’ve been off one of my chemo meds, my hormones have been raging and I just feel real funny! I haven’t had these symptoms in probably 3 years since before I started chemo. My hair is starting to grow back to my normal texture – with the initial IV chemo, my hair all fell out but came back thicker but straight; after being on the oral chemo, my hair has been curly and kinky and I don’t like it at all! I will probably have to get my hair cut soon to get the curly/kinky off and get my normal hair back!! Now, I can finally complete all the treatments I need and finally start living a “normal” life!! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers – they really worked!!
